USATF Foundation Youth Club Grants Available
The USA Track & Field Foundation has $1500 youth grants immediately available and all youth clubs in financial need are encouraged to apply.  Grant applications can be printed from the Foundation’s website. 
The deadline for applications is June 1, 2008

An outline of allowable expenses for USATF Foundation grants can be found below:

Allowable Expenses:
·  equipment and uniforms
·  athlete meet fees and travel expenses
·  staff and volunteer training
·  outreach
·  facilities rental

Expenses/Requests Not Allowed:
·  general operating support
·  individual scholarships and expenses (except for a team's elite athletes travel national meets)
·  paid staff
·  office facilities rental
·  "conduit" organizations
·  multi-year grant requests (however, you can apply for funds annually)

Considerations:
·  the number of children impacted
·  whether there is some type of scholastic or educational component to the project  (e.g., school behavior, attendance, or achievement)
·  whether the project already has current financial support within their local  community (preference will be given to those with a record of financial stability)
·  the potential for self-sustainment and a solid long-term strategic plan

Additionally, all grant recipients will be asked to promote and embrace the principles of the Win With Integrity program.
